I absolutely love this product. I was first introduced to it during a visit to one of my friends in Manhattan. I live in Georgia so I can't exactly get this product as easily as she can, so I was elated to find this product on Amazon. I am mixed with German and Black, so my hair is all over the place. This product not only softens the texture of my hair but always has a great scent that lasts. I call it hair crack because if I don't use it when I wash it, my hair will not cooperate as well...lol, crazy as that may sound. I simply wash and condition my hair as usual and then use the silicon mix, i let it sit for about 3-4 minutes in my hair and wash it out. I am contemplating buying the shampoo and conditioner next. I hope this review helps people with my texture of hair. Have a great day folks!!!

This product does seem to help with breakage, smells okay but not great. Almost leaves an oily residue and makes it difficult to style my hair. Not to mention the static! I do not think I will be purchasing more simply due to the price and the VERY SMALL bottles!!! If I could get more for my money's worth I would consider buying more. This product didn't last a month of using it once daily. Not cool!

I'd read online that this was a good clarifying shampoo so I expected it to strip my hair completely and leave it dry and brittle. After washing my hair with this product, the results were quite the opposite. I started combing my hair and the comb just slid right through my hair....super easy detangling and my hair NEVER detangles this easy...and this is with new growth which is very kinky and tough! I was so surprised I actually went back to read the bottle because I didn't realize it detangled. My hair was not left dry or brittle. I was greatly impressed! I now use this shampoo on a weekly basis. I love it when products do what they say they're going to do. This one will be a definite keeper!
So this review is a good assessment of the product, I've used it three times before posting the review.

I'm always looking for good conditioners for my dry hair. I used this conditioner for the first time, and I can honestly say it's great. I washed my hair and applied this product and sat under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes. When I rinsed it out of my hair, my hair felt like silk. After blowdrying and flatironing my hair feels so soft. So this will now be one of my staple products. Now on the other hand, my best friend used this product and says it left her hair feeling very thick and coated. Her hair is already thick so that's the last thing she needs. Me on the other hand, I have thin hair, and strive for thickness. So obviously it works for some and not for others. But as long as they make it I'm going to continue to use it.

My hair was so damaged, I didn't recognize it as my own anymore. This has brought it back, makes it soft and manageable. It feels a little sticky if you don't do a very good job of rinsing, which can be difficult. But it's well worth the price. And it does make the scalp tinkle but I'm not sure what that does for you.

Hairomega 3-in-1 (was Maxahair) Dht-blocking, Nutrient Providing, Circulation Improving Hair Loss Supplement Review

Super Great product! I also never have time to put into posting reviews. However, I wanted to take the time to post this one because I thought it might really help others struggling with hair loss and/or thinning hair.
I noticed within a short time after using Maxihair that my hair appeared fuller. I have used the product for 6 months now and can say that this product seems to directly impact hair fullness. I think what is happening is that where I already have hair, that more hair is growing in. The problem is that I am trying to have hair regrow near the forehead and temples where I have hair loss (due to hairdressers on two occasions washing out hair color with very hot or scalding water - Keune color is awful - burns and makes your scalp sensitive to water temperature too). So I am afraid the roots and hair follicles have been damaged too much for regrowth. However, I have noticed some small hairs regrowing near those areas, and naturally I am hoping for more. I also religiously take one Maxihair pill per day, and I try to remember to take 2 (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). With my latest order today, I am going to try to take 3 and see if I can get even better results.
I also was advised by my doctor to take Omega 3-6-9 for improved overall health, since I am in menopause, and I also try to remember to supplement with additional Source Naturals Pure Inositol Powder (1/4 teaspoon a day). Just to make a point though, I noticed a distinct improvement just with taking Maxihair, before I took anything else, so I am sure that the Maxihair is great all by itself.
Two other things of note - I am a teacher and am working another part-time job cause my husband lost his job, and I always struggle with having enough energy and also getting sick from working too hard. Well, the Maxihair is also helping by increasing my energy level and stamina. After all, there are numerous vitamins in Maxihair, which seem to be way more effective than I have experienced when taking other one-a-day type vitamin/mineral pills. The only drawback I have experienced, believe it or not, is that occasionally the pill seems to generate wacky, disturbing dreams. Perhaps it would help if I didn't take it right before I go to bed, but my schedule is so crazy, that's when I have a chance to take it (and remember to take it!)
So, as someone who has really struggled with thin hair, this pill is like magic. I will post another update after I take 3 pills a day for a while and see if I experience any better results with hair re-growth near the forehead and temple areas.

Miracle in a Bottle
That's what they should call this product. I am a black woman from the Caribbean. I never had problems growing my hair. In fact, the length of my hair shocked most people. It's been pulled and tugged by the strangers around the world. My hair was my pride.

Ds Laboratories Revita.cor High Performance Hair Growth Stimulating Conditioner, 190ml Review

This conditioner is on another level. I used this product in conjunction with the Revita Shampoo (notes on the shampoo at the bottom) and it felt wonderful. I shampooed according the instructions and lightly towel dried my hair. I parted my hair and applied Revita.cor to my scalp in small sections to preserve the product. I applied a different conditioner (Aloxxi Keratin Treatment conditioner) to my the mid-length and ends, but not heavily. I put my hair up in 4 bantu knots, covered w/a cap and went to read the morning paper. Be aware that the sensation the conditioner gives is stronger than peppermint. It is very cooling and is a great indicator that it helps with inflammation and excessive heat on the scalp. I rinsed the mid-lengths and ends first and went back to rinse the Revita.cor.
This conditioner doesn't have slip, but it does condition the hair sufficiently. It won't melt tangles though. I didn't use a leave-in conditioner with this and the styling products I used after did not come in contact with my scalp. I did not have a problem detangling my hair.
Its too soon to tell if this will produce spectacular results, but I like the ingredients list - for the most part and it did not irritate my sensitive scalp.
Yes it is a small bottle, but it is a highly concentrated product. I don't suggest you use it as you would your regular conditioner.
*Now a note on the shampoo - it is extremely concentrated and drying to relaxed/natural hair. I got around the drying aspect of this by adding adding diluting the amount of shampoo I used to 4 parts water in a color applicator bottle. This was much easier to apply to the scalp and not tangle the length of my hair. I certainly wouldn't suggest diluting more than you are going to use for that day.

I am extremely pleased with Nzuri. "Dry, brittle, lifeless" hair seemed to be the story of my life. I would move from that to OILY when I'd try a different product. Well, it might not have been oily but it looked that way. I have difficult hair (two-tone, slightly longer than shoulder length). And the fact that everything I tried was directly applied to my hair meant I was working on a symptom instead of getting... to the roots of my problem.
I take vitamins and minerals anyway, so it made sense to me that I try Nzuri since it contains vitamins specific to hair, skin, and nails. Warning: If you don't see results in 5 days, why would you expect to? Your hair that's on your head now has been there and is the result of what you consumed before. I found that in a couple of weeks though, I began noticing my hair was a little less lifeless. The lifelessness was what I first noticed and I suspect you will too.
By 2 months, there was a remarkable difference. By then the vitamins in Nzuri had gotten to my hair, new hair had come in, and the shine was back. I believe in this product. Get Nzuri if you've had bad luck with topical products in the past also.

my hair has always been fine and wispy. now that I am older, I think its thinning a bit too. Any way, I needed something to make my hair look a bit fuller. This works very well for me. You have to learn to use it, but once you get the hang of it, it'll bring your confidence back. The only downside is that if you apply it before your hair is dry it can run. Also, it'll get on your fingers as you apply it and run your fingers through your hair. No big deal. Just wash your hands after use. Once its dry and you add some hair spray, you shouldn't have to worry about it. It can make your hair feel less than soft and your woman may notice that your hair feels a little different, but that's a small price to pay for a fuller looking head of hair. I use it on my frontal hairline. No one has noticed so far. And it looks very natural. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Huetiful Hair and Facial Steamer (1yr Replacement and Free Shipping) Review

I got this steamer as an early Christmas gift. Being excited to try it out, I set it up right away. Overall the steamer was OK. After using it a couple times, I cannot say that it was any better than sitting under my mom's old-fashioned heating cap. A couple details about me: I have natural african-american hair 4b/c sometimes classified as (cNapp). My hair responds to moisture and conditioners- which seems like the perfect equation for this product.
Some obvious flaws are:
1) The steam hood is designed slightly inadequately, as the steam does not reach the bottom 1/3 or back of your hair (about 3-4 inches above your nape). To remedy this, I steamed about 10 minutes regularly, and then turned backwards in my seat, straddling cowboy style, having the front of the hood steam the back of my hair. This worked OK, but not the ultimate solution. For $125+, a problem like that should be addressed. Additionally, another method I use to get the most steam exposure is to band my hair at the top of my head with a headband. At least with this method, my ends get wet. Oh, and a sweatband is almost essential if you don't want to continuously rid your face and neck of water.
2) The steam session is only estimated to last about 20 minutes, however, my steamer automatically shut off while there was an inch of water left in the basin (yes, I got out my ruler and measured). Don't get me wrong, as a forgetful person I embrace automatic shut off, however, I don't appreciate premature shut off. Anyway, with so much water left in the basin, and the coil being submersed in the water, one naturally worries about rust, right? Well taking off the basin is hard, and almost feels like you are going to break it. So I just loosened it and tilted the whole unit over the sink to pour out the excess water.
3) While not on the top of the list is the fact that the hood is not adjustable, meaning you have to find the perfect table and chair combination to be adequately positioned under the unit. I'm short, so I used my office chair that has height adjustment.
All in all, if steam works for you, then give it a go. But I honestly think their developers need to go back to the drawing board and redesign the hood to be more effective (and us early adapters should get a replacement part- but that's not going to happen, I'm sure). I wanted this to be a drop-dead amazing product because it garnered rave reviews(in hindsight I wonder how genuine this is since part of their marketing scheme was to send free units to popular hair bloggers) but it landed at "ehh, ok" (but do I tell that to the person who bought it for me?? whomp whomp).
Oh, and I cannot comment on the facial attachment as I haven't received it yet.
Additional Note/Edit- I am really upset with Huetiful as I have found that the same machine design (features and all) minus the $3 "made in China" plastic hood is offered by another company at half the cost! I really feel that Huetiful is benefiting off of this machine at the expense of the African American community by repackaging the product and charging double! I posted on their Facebook page my concerns and they deleted my comment! That, to me, implied their guilt. I will not be supporting them.
Please see here for the product I am referencing- note that the only differences are 1) the colors (yes, seriously, the colors of the base and trim) and 2) the cheap hood. Id rather buy this machine and fabricate my own hood from supplies at my local hardware store. This product was introduced in 2008, which means it came first.

A long time ago I used this product in conjunction with other ORS products because I had a bald spot that came from a too tight weave. I used this and it along with the other products nurtured my scalp and hair back. Would use again if needed.

I have type 4b Afro hair and know how it takes time for our hair to grow. What I love about this product is that it works! Regrowth in one week, EASILY!! GET THIS PRODUCT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF! Some people also combine with Ultra Hair Plus which I have also used. I would rather take it alternative days instead of together on the same day. Works very well too! Just less tablets to take!
