I just bought this product today from Sally's and so far I really like it. It smells like cotton candy, so the smell alone has me really liking this product. I used it on my locs a few hours ago and they still feel very soft and moisturized. I can tell it's not just a regular hair oil, it's a little thicker. It almost has a castor oil type of consistency to it. It's only been a few hours so I can't say for sure if it's a staple product for me or not but so far I like the results.

This has to be one of the greatest hair products Ive found.. I am a natural hair stylist of many years and I use this oil on many of my natural clients. It also works on relaxed hair but not as well. The ppl that have written bad reviews for this product may not have knowledge of natural oils or how to use them. This product does not smell like something you would find in a typical beauty store, mainly because it is a NATURAL product and not filled with ingredients that are placed in many of those cheap hair growth-stunting products. To get the best results from this product, use it on damp hair. If used on dry hair, use only a very small amount This products is a very lightweight oil and I use it on my own hair and it adds a brilliant shine..I also use it on my son to twist his hair after washing and it provides great manageability and softens his hair a lot. The oil is solid when u receive it but u can just put it in a cup of warm water for a few moments or microwave it for about 15 seconds. I hope my review can help someone else out there.

I bought this the same time I bought some amla oil. My amla oil is now in the back of the closet with no plans to use again. This oil however is fantastic. The smell isn't great but it isn't bad like the amla is. I have been using this as a prepoo and mixed in with my powders. My hair is becoming so soft and I am ticked that I haven't found these products earlier in life. I haven't used it long enough to comment on the supposed growth properties but it works wonders for dry brittle hair and scalp.

Home Health - Castor Oil Review

I read hair blogs and ppl were talking about how Castor oil thickens your hair. So of course I had to try it. I apply castor oil to my scalp two to three night out of the week. My hair is thickening and growing well with a thicker pattern and grain of hair. Even the hair on my sides have started to grow in after about 2 months of using CO. Its almost as if the CO is affecting the texture of my hair in a good way. I have sort of went Castor Oil crazy! Because Cator Oil is so thick, I mix it with my lotions when applying them to my body for added moisture. I apply it to my skin after I have applied a facial mask and on days that I know I will wash my hair ( Im AA lol), i apply a generous amount to my scalp, cover my head with a plastic cap and warm towel and rinse. CO is especially good for AA hair because our scalps tend to dry out sooo easily. This is definitely one of my staple products!
Even with all the uses, I still havent used half of the bottle.

I bought some hair and got a sample of this for free. it works miracles. it smelss great and it softens your hair (weaves/natural). it makes the hair lustrous without that plastic look. it makes the hair feel soooo soft. it moisturizes really well without weighing downthe hair. it is comparable to Frizz Ease Serum cuz it really tames that wild frizy hair. i cannto say how great this product is. it is far better to me than the other ic polishes. this is the best thing ever. and it does wonders on your skin too as a moisturizer. when i am done rubbing it in my hair, i rub the residue of it on my skin. makes my skin moisturized too.

I like this product a lot. I have been using this once a week for 4/5 months now, and I do feel that my hair has become smoother and they look well nourished. But I am yet to notice any significant hair growth. Nevertheless, I feel it's is feeding my hair better so I'll keep using it. The biggest advantage is it does not make hair look all oily and limpy! You would barely notice that you have oiled your hair!

I tried this product after I found information on the internet. I was desperate to find a hair conditioner that would repair very badly damaged overprocessed (bleached) hair. I have tried many high priced products to fix this problem, I had nothing to loose. I slept in the Coconut Oil the first night, and shampooed the next morning. What a difference! After a few weeks, I now use it weekly to keep my hair feeling soft and natural. The damaged hair is growing out, but the oil is good for the new growth too. I use it daily on my skin as well, and am very impressed with the results. It has brought a youthful look to my skin. I was a sun worshipper before we were told, that much sun isn't good for your skin but the improvement is amazing. It has softened fine lines and plumped up 40 year old skin. I recommend this to all my friends. I have tried expensive skin and eye products as well, and find that I am allergic to most of them, this really works. It is molecularly possible to benefit your hair and skin, (as per a scientific site) to do some good to your anatomy. It won't leave you feeling greasy like mineral or olive oil does. This product was shipped fast, is a great bargain, and you can throw away all those expensive products and use this product as staple. I apply it under makeup, use it for delicate under eye moisturizer, hair conditioner, and it replaces lotions to soften all over. It doesn't smell like the beach, it smells like raw coconut. Easy to use. I'll be back when my supply runs out!!!

I've used a whole jar of this, and it was well worth the money (although I will note that I paid only $1.00 for it at Walgreens!) It moisturizes like crazy, although it will be too heavy for some. I think if you have Caucasian hair you may not like or need this, except perhaps for your damaged ends. Otherwise it will be too much. I highly recommend if you're looking for something budget-friendly that actually works pretty well.

I bought this item because it was described as "Fulfilled by Amazon" on behalf of a third party. I contacted Amazon to ask for the ingredients list because it was not mentioned at all in the website. The representative was great and contacted the company called Simply Beautiful but no one responded to his call. When I received the product, the ingredients listed on the bottle are as follows: Mineral oil, Coconut oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Perfume Benzophenone-3.
I took off 2 stars because of the hurdles one has to go through to obtain an ingredients list and the time one has to set aside to ask for a refund. The jasmine perfume is near identical to smelling live jasmine flowers. Coconut oil is great for hair care. Unfortunately, mineral oil receives a thumbs down in the long hair community forums. If you do not care about the presence of mineral oil in this product, then you will probably enjoy using this.

I am very happy with this product and sad that local CVS and riteaids discontinued it. Now I have to order online. I have very, very dry hair and use this product as a hot oil treatment/deep conditioner to help with that. I put the oil on with my conditioner (mane and tail) sit under a shower cap and towel for about 30-45mins and viola! Soft, moisturized hair. Does not leave it feeling heavy either.

Africa's Best Kids Organics Hair Lotion, Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing, 12 oz. Review

When I first went natural, I spent a small fortune trying to find products that would do a myriad of different things for my dry, thirsty, unruly 3C hair(i.e. give my curls length, no frizz, shine, nice scent, not sticky, provide hold without stiffness, etc.). Well Africa's Best Kid's Organics Extra Virgin Olive Oil Plus Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion does it all AND is cheap to boot. Yes, it does a nice job of detangling on just washed & conditioned hair but there's another big plus. It's also perfect for both wet and dry braid outs. It keeps curls tamed but still gives my hair some freedom. It provides enough hold to keep my style in check without frizz and smells SO good. This lotion also "plays nice" with my other styling products (Vanilla Silk shine serum and Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel) so that when I need more hold and extra shine it doesn't make a big mess. I also don't need to use it every day to get a nice style. When I braid my hair for the night at the end of Day 2, I lightly spritz a little water mixed with my favorite hair oil, put a tiny bit of the lotion on my ends, and my curls stretch out more and more as the days go by (3 days max without a wash or I'll lose my mind!). I just hope this stuff stays on the market forever. Seems like the minute I find a product I love, some big wig decides to fix what ain't broke and I'm back to square one. So while it's here give it a try. At this price, you've got nothing to lose.
