I have female pattern baldness and I have tried soooo many other pills but this is the only one that is actually working. Now its not overnite but I've been on it 2 months and my hair is growing in. I love this product, the shampoo and rinse. I've not tried the 3rd one. A friend recommended it so I thought I'd give it a try. I was so pleased; I've not used anything else since. I did run out one time and had to use another brand. I could sure tell the difference. This product (shampoo and rinse) is so condensed and you need only a small amount; consequently, it's going to take you a long, long time to get to the bottom. I highly recommend this product and will never switch. You know something is good if you've stuck with it for over 25-years!!

I just bought this product today from Sally's and so far I really like it. It smells like cotton candy, so the smell alone has me really liking this product. I used it on my locs a few hours ago and they still feel very soft and moisturized. I can tell it's not just a regular hair oil, it's a little thicker. It almost has a castor oil type of consistency to it. It's only been a few hours so I can't say for sure if it's a staple product for me or not but so far I like the results.

I originally bought this product from SOMEwhere off a shelf a looong time ago and it sat on my shelf for who knows how long for whatever reason.
This last year I began wearing my hair natural and searched for natural products that actually DID something for hair growth and health. Most products in my opinion do not work for me. I began using this oil out of the blue using the little eye dropper to get it to my scalp and then massaging it in. I have to say it works VERY well without being "too oily or too heavy" and it smells GREAT (more like peppermint oil). When I combine it with a coco butter/Shea leave in conditioner, my boyfriend said it smelled a little like licorice and he liked it.
In any case, it keeps my hair soft and nice without buildup (my hair is naturally curly but can turn to cotton if its dry). I really like the ingredients (which are few and uncomplicated) and it includes garlic oil which is a natural antibiotic (I use garlic oil for EVERYthing including ear aches!). I like the fact it doesnt actually smell like garlic without losing the ingredient alltogether!
I think I was a full grown adult before I actually realized olive oil could be eaten on salads! (LOL) Growing up it was always used on hair....but I shied away from it later in life as "too dense" to use all the time. This has olive oil in it and it has the perfect viscosity without being heavy at all.
Not remembering WHERE I bought this oil as I came down to the very last drops, I searched EVERYwhere to find it, including the website on the very bottle and came up empty handed!! I almost gave up after googling and googling and finding only other products. I almost bought another product (all the way to the checkout basket) and googled one more time and found THIS website with the very product I was looking for! Needeless to say I bought it right away including the conditioner to see if how that product fairs. Not everything works for everybody but I DO like this one and recommend it!

I've suffered from significant hair thinning in the past two years and being a female in my early twenties, I naturally became very self-conscious. I used to lose handfuls of hair after washing with shampoo and conditioner but since my hair tends to get oily very quickly, I had to wash it everyday. After adapting a strict vitamin regime and cutting down stress, the extreme shedding subsided...but for some reason, no matter what high quality strengthening/organic/expensive product I used, my hair was so limp, thin, and grew so slowly that I kept it short, thinking I'll never have long yet healthy looking hair again.
I have read that DHT and sebum buildup are significant contributors to hair shedding and one of the ingredients -- saw palmetto, is a natural dht inhibitor. Oily scalps are also prone to hair loss/thinning so I needed a gentle but effective cleansing and clarifying shampoo. I must say biotin b complex has SAVED my hair. I used to have the longest, thickest head of hair just 2-3 years ago and this shampoo has stopped the thinning/shedding & makes my hair so much thicker that it might just look like it used to in a few months...Only downside I can think of is that I finish the bottle fairly quickly (I have medium hair length) so I'm always reordering these! If you like it, you're better off ordering the three pack. Hope this helps anyone skeptical of the product, i know I was at first but now it's an essential.

I have hypoactive thyroid, which means my hair thins. About 2 years ago, I was talking to my doctor about what seemed to be a drastic hair loss. My medication did need to be adjusted, but she also suggested I try a new shampoo/conditioner to help with hair loss, and she wrote down "Nioxin." I was desperate, so I decided to give the product a try.
To be frank, I'm not bowled over by the scent. It has a somewhat medicinal smell, which can take some time to get used to. There is also a bit of a tingle when using the Scalp Therapy that might be a little unnerving at first.
However! I noticed within the first month of use (and I wash my hair 2 - 3 times a week), I had less hair in the shower comb, and less hair showing up on the bathroom counter. Also, since becoming hypoactive, I've become a "shedder" - with hair literally falling out as I stand talking to people. This had started to decrease.
After 2 years of use, the amount of hair in the shower comb is dramatically reduced, as well as the hair on the bathroom counter. I now rarely "shed," and if I do, it's like one or two hairs. My hair is staying on my head!!
When I was a young child, I had really, really thick hair, and prior to using Nioxin, that was becoming a memory. Now, my hair looks really thick and full, and it even feels thick and full. I do straighten my hair, which can cause extra stress, but my hair is still soft, shiny, and healthy. And I've noticed new hair growth! I'm just thrilled with the results I've seen so far. And I now get compliments on my hair - something that has not happened in quite some time!
It does take time and patience, but this product can work and work well. Now, if they can only do something about that scent...

I have 3C/4A natural hair and I consistently get 1 inch + using this product. The smell is terrible, but I noticed that's less intense as when I first opened the bottle. I massage a small amount on my scalp and cover with a cap for an hour as a pre-poo once a week and have it mixed with wild growth hair oil, megatek, castor oil, and coconut oil as my scalp oil. I started using the Brahmi Amla oil before using anything else and I notice my hair was thicker and fuller each week. I get the growth "itchies" when using this alone. I like that the ingredients don't include the junk that others do.

I have been using a different brand of hair vitamins for the past year or so at the advice of my hair stylist because of some hair thinning at the temples. I recently ran out and decided to try a different brand. I bought a bottle of Healthy Skin and Hair Plus Nails by Irwin Naturals at a local vitamin store after reading reviews here on Amazon. When I got home, I took a closer look at the lable and that's when I saw the Prop 65 Warning. In case you're not familiar, here's more information on the warning:
"The following warning language is standard on products sold in California if they contain chemicals on the Proposition 65 list and the amount of exposure caused by the product is not within defined safety limits.
WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
The wording can be changed as necessary, so long as it communicates that the chemical in question is known to the state to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm."
I would strongly advise AGAINST using this product for the reasons stated above. I'm going to return the one I bought and look for something that is (hopefully) healthy.

it took awhile for me to write this review because i wanted to give it a fair amount of time to work but it doesnt work
Pros
its not really greasy(well it is when you first put it on but then it drys up)
its a dry oil that means oil isnt running all down you neck and face
its really good for sealing the ends of you hair
Cons
it says its suppose to hydrate your hair and scalp, it hydrates my hair but my scalp is dry or rather yet it makes my hair look hydrated.
it dosent make your hair softer. ive use this on flat ironed hair and unflat ironed hair and both times my hair was hard or dry feeling
most of motions products really suck for me atleast there's only a couple that are really good and this is not one of them i thought since this was marula oil and everybody was talking about how good it was i figured this would be good to...its not, save your money

With its slightly greasy consistancy and sharp smell, this hair butter weighed down my twists without giving them much mositure. However, when applied to my open hair (styled in an afro) I was pleased to find dazzling shine and softness in every mirror. I was very impressed with the results provided by one generous dollop of hair butter.
I am uncertain of the proper way to store the hair butter. I had been keeping it in cupboards and this, apparently, is not a good idea. Twice I've had to skim mildew from the surface of the product. At this point, I'm keeping it chilled in the fridge for fear that I'll have to toss this months-old jar of HB out in the trash.

It leaves me speechless. I ordered this product after I read about it in Seventeen Magazine. I would wash my hair let it dry then get up extra early the next morning to flat iron it and look decent for my class in the next few hours. With this product, it has greatly helped my damaged hair to repair. As soon as I got my hair permed I left it wet and added the Elixir, as it dried over night as soon as i awoke in the morning I automatically smelled a pretty scent. I unwrapped my hair and it actually fell, almost like a dramatic movie scene. I hurried to the bathroom and noticed I didn't even need to bother pluging the flat iron. I combed through my hair and played with it in the mirrior like a child with a new toy. It was my hair and it was BEAUTIFUL! I splashed on a few spritz of the Black Vanilla Leave in Conditioner and it looked great! As if I had an extra early salon visit that morning. On top of that, the scent it gave off throughout the day didn't effect me at all. It seem to me to be more suttle than some Pantene products I have used.
EVEN BETTER!
My great grandmother who is going on 83 has the thickest hair I have ever seen. It grows and breaks off very fast but since it is grey we cannot perm her hair to help her maintain it. every now and then we greese her scalp and comb through it to take care of it. This time we greesed her scalp with the Elixir and almost instantly nothing else needed to be done. I bounced and with a little of the Hair Milk from this line, her natural hair was wavy and more defined. I lover her hair the way it is now with all of her little waves running through it. Her breakaged stopped when we added some of the Elixir to the ends(as suggested by another customer). It may seem like I added alot of the products to her hair but it a little goes a long way. A few drops of the Elixer with a nickle sized amount of the Hair Milk and I finished wth a few spritz of the Leave in conditioner. Her hair looked so good I thought about going natural! Wild Growth Hair Oil 4oz "Pack of 2" Review

This product is great. I came across it while searching for hair products on Amazon. I was skeptical due to all of the hair products I have tried many many products in the past that promised "supergrowth," "megagrowth," and "ultragrowth," but failed to deliver the results that there names claim. I even started using Carol's Daughter and Dr. Miracles' products, but none have made my hair grow faster than this! I have really curly, short bushy hair that due to my relaxing and flat ironing had gotten dry, brittle, and hardly grew at all. One I started using this product I saw results fast! I would recommend using it with the Wild Growth hair oil moisturizer as this helps aid in the process of repairing hair. The product does have a slight odor of tea tree oil, but after 30 minutes or so the smells seems to go away for me. This is a product at least worth trying because my hair is the best it has ever been in years!!

Nisim Electric Vibrating Massage Hair Brush - 1 each Review

This brush was Pretty good while it worked for maybe a year. I found the round ends of the bristles a little to blunt but it did have a vigorous vibrating action until last week when it gave up. It gets another demerit because the battery cover in the handle wouldn't stay in place. Oh yeah another thing, the membrane that the bristles are attached to came off but it worked OK after I super glued it back in place.
To be fair this is my third or forth electric vibrating brush and none of them work very long.
