Organic Root Stimulator Uplifting Shampoo 9 oz. Review

I'd read online that this was a good clarifying shampoo so I expected it to strip my hair completely and leave it dry and brittle. After washing my hair with this product, the results were quite the opposite. I started combing my hair and the comb just slid right through my hair....super easy detangling and my hair NEVER detangles this easy...and this is with new growth which is very kinky and tough! I was so surprised I actually went back to read the bottle because I didn't realize it detangled. My hair was not left dry or brittle. I was greatly impressed! I now use this shampoo on a weekly basis. I love it when products do what they say they're going to do. This one will be a definite keeper!
So this review is a good assessment of the product, I've used it three times before posting the review.

I'm always looking for good conditioners for my dry hair. I used this conditioner for the first time, and I can honestly say it's great. I washed my hair and applied this product and sat under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes. When I rinsed it out of my hair, my hair felt like silk. After blowdrying and flatironing my hair feels so soft. So this will now be one of my staple products. Now on the other hand, my best friend used this product and says it left her hair feeling very thick and coated. Her hair is already thick so that's the last thing she needs. Me on the other hand, I have thin hair, and strive for thickness. So obviously it works for some and not for others. But as long as they make it I'm going to continue to use it.

A long time ago I used this product in conjunction with other ORS products because I had a bald spot that came from a too tight weave. I used this and it along with the other products nurtured my scalp and hair back. Would use again if needed.

i love this product....when u apply it to ur hair, it's wet. so make sure u dont straighten your then apply. cuz its gonna get back puffy...i suggest applying this when ur hair is wet. (like after u wash and condition it)....i've been using this for about 5 mos...and will continue to use this..its works 4 me!!!! 5 stars on this one!!!

I severely damaged my hair using a product that changed it's formula. I'll tell you, it was CANTU. Loved it - until it changed. NEW is NOT always better. My hair became dry, very damaged and I experienced severe breakage and lost about 8+ inches of hair with the "new and improved" formula. I was devastated as it took me 3 years to grow that hair. Then on top of that I ruined my hair with bad color (can you say...Bozo the Clown?) Man, what I klutz I did on my hair.
I found this product and had my daughter apply it and fix my color (she's a hair stylist and I will no longer apply my own relaxer even though I have done so my entire adult life - I am almost 50!) This product is amazing and I noticed the results immediately with the first use. Hair loss was VERY minimal and with a good cut my hair is soft, glossy, healthy, bouncy and already I see growth after one week. AMAZING!! I'm still having a little breakage - but I expected that. I don't impress easy, but this produce is impressive so far. I moisturize my hair nightly and wrap with a silk scarf religiously. I do use light heat daily and I use Luster's Renutrients Slick Stick (pomade wax stick) - also amazing - Walgreens for both, check it out my sista's. You'll be glad you did.

I am currently on day 73 of using this product twice a day according to directions. I apply it and massage it into my thin edges really gently until its all absorbed into my scalp like the directions say. But guess what?? I have seen absolutely NO change in my hairline. It's still as thin as it was before I started! I know that this product states that this is supposed to be a 90 day process, but I am to think by day 73 I would see at least a LITTLE change...but nope I haven't. It's sad that I wasted $13 on a product that doesn't work for me. *sigh* It smells really good and i love how it doesn't clog my hair follicles...but that's the only good thing I can say about it. What a waste of my time :( ..oh and my money!!!
