Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter Review

With its slightly greasy consistancy and sharp smell, this hair butter weighed down my twists without giving them much mositure. However, when applied to my open hair (styled in an afro) I was pleased to find dazzling shine and softness in every mirror. I was very impressed with the results provided by one generous dollop of hair butter.
I am uncertain of the proper way to store the hair butter. I had been keeping it in cupboards and this, apparently, is not a good idea. Twice I've had to skim mildew from the surface of the product. At this point, I'm keeping it chilled in the fridge for fear that I'll have to toss this months-old jar of HB out in the trash.

Carol's Daughter Lisa's Hair Elixir Review

It leaves me speechless. I ordered this product after I read about it in Seventeen Magazine. I would wash my hair let it dry then get up extra early the next morning to flat iron it and look decent for my class in the next few hours. With this product, it has greatly helped my damaged hair to repair. As soon as I got my hair permed I left it wet and added the Elixir, as it dried over night as soon as i awoke in the morning I automatically smelled a pretty scent. I unwrapped my hair and it actually fell, almost like a dramatic movie scene. I hurried to the bathroom and noticed I didn't even need to bother pluging the flat iron. I combed through my hair and played with it in the mirrior like a child with a new toy. It was my hair and it was BEAUTIFUL! I splashed on a few spritz of the Black Vanilla Leave in Conditioner and it looked great! As if I had an extra early salon visit that morning. On top of that, the scent it gave off throughout the day didn't effect me at all. It seem to me to be more suttle than some Pantene products I have used.

My great grandmother who is going on 83 has the thickest hair I have ever seen. It grows and breaks off very fast but since it is grey we cannot perm her hair to help her maintain it. every now and then we greese her scalp and comb through it to take care of it. This time we greesed her scalp with the Elixir and almost instantly nothing else needed to be done. I bounced and with a little of the Hair Milk from this line, her natural hair was wavy and more defined. I lover her hair the way it is now with all of her little waves running through it. Her breakaged stopped when we added some of the Elixir to the ends(as suggested by another customer). It may seem like I added alot of the products to her hair but it a little goes a long way. A few drops of the Elixer with a nickle sized amount of the Hair Milk and I finished wth a few spritz of the Leave in conditioner. Her hair looked so good I thought about going natural! I feel as if I now have an addiction to the products! I cant think of any other products that meet the standards of these. This is truly a blessing. I can't wait to use more.

L'Oreal Paris EverStrong Overnight Treatment, 3.4-Fluid Ounce Review

I have long, fine hair that tends to get dry. Only recently have I been really committed to keeping my hair healthy; I want to try growing my hair out really long! I use frequent deep conditioners, leave-in treatments and try to use heat-stylers as infrequently as possible. Not gonna lie, this product got my attention because of Evangeline Lily (I'm a big Lostie!) I thought I'd give the shampoo and conditioner a try, and they were ok, but not the best. THIS, however! If you are trying to give your hair a big boost of moisture and health, do yourself a favor and give the overnight treatment a try. Here were the best things I noticed about it:
1. My ends felt so soft and healthy after one night that I changed my mind about needing to go for a haircut. If you're trying to grow out your hair, you want to get as few cuts as possible, right? Here you go- add a few months of growing between cuts.
2. My hair actually felt heavier, even after washing and drying the next day. I could literally tell the difference in moisture absorbed by weight! It meant a noticeable difference in flyaways, and my fine hair still felt styled hours after I was done drying it.
3. I was very skeptical about how a product this intense wouldn't feel oily, but it really doesn't. I put the product in my hair a few hours before bed, but it was totally absorbed in minutes- a little bit of a "gunked up" feeling while the product was actually on, but not oily. I just put my hair in a braid to keep it out of the way, and to not feel 'unbathed.'
I will say that you'll probably need more than the recommended 1-2 pumps. My hair is long enough that I can tuck it under my arms, and I use between 6-8 pumps. Otherwise, nothing but good to say about this awesome product! Enjoy your new hair!
